Dagens urfremføring er dedikert til rom 68 i samlingspresentasjonen. Rommet har tittelen “Fragmenter av virkelighet” og er viet den tidlige abstrakte kunsten.
Harpreet Bansal har i løpet av få år markert seg som en av landets mest spennende komponister og hun spiller på en fiolin laget i Brescia i 1690 av den berømte makeren Giovanni Battista Rogeri. Der Rogeri forente byggestilene fra Brescia og Cremona, forener Harpreet kunstmusikk med vestlige og østlige tradisjoner.

In conjunction with the “Master to Master” exhibition, three new compositions have been created in response to artworks in the National Museum’s collection.
Today’s premiere is dedicated to Room 68 in the Collection Presentation. Entitled “Fragments of Reality”, this room focuses on early abstract art.
In just a few years, Harpreet Bansal has distinguished herself as one of Norway’s most exciting composers. Here she plays a violin made in Brescia in 1690 by the famous luthier Giovanni Battista Rogeri. Just as Rogeri combined the construction styles of Brescia and Cremona, Harpreet fuses art music from Western and Eastern traditions.
