About Cooper Copetas

French-American architect Cooper Copetas graduated from the University of Miami School of Architecture and Urban Design. He began his career under Jean Nouvel in Paris and later founded a Smart City design lab in Miami, which earned him the key to the county. At 25, his design to renovate Notre-Dame-de-Paris was featured on the cover of Time magazine, winning the 2020 American Institute of Architects Theoretical and Research Design Award. Fluent in multiple languages, Copetas is a co-founder of Magma, a global architectural and real estate technology firm, where he is the principal designer and Chief Innovation Officer. He also runs a website dedicated to sharing news about current events, architecture, and history through cartoons and short stories known as WAADL.com.
