Urban Trails: Tucson - Walk on the Turquoise Trail and Book Signing

Join Urban Trails: Tucson guidebook author Sirena Rana downtown for a walk on the Turquoise Trail and book signing! Meet under the colorful dome at the historic Pima County courthouse.

The Presidio San Agustín del Tucson Turquoise Trail will acquaint you with the many generations of inhabitants of this land and their way of life—such as Indigenous, Spanish, and Mexican cultures—all interwoven with the history of Tucson. The route follows a turquoise line painted on the ground with twenty-two stops and ten viewpoints over 2.5 miles. We will be walking a shorter 2-mile version of the tour that ends at stop 14 and returns to the historic courthouse.

After the walk, Sirena will have a book signing at the Southern Arizona Heritage and Visitor Center with live music and Flamenco Dance by Angelina Ramirez. You can also purchase Urban Trails: Tucson at trailsinspire.com/books.
