The Urban Renewal Big Band is hard at work preparing for our next appearance at The Jazz Kitchen, November 4, 2025 7-9PM. Our recent shows have all had specific themes. This time, we wanted to dig into our book of over 200 arrangements written exclusively for this band to present "The Best Of Urban Renewal" This show includes an amazing uptempo chart for "Alone Together", a new chart of ours of "I Just Wanna Stop" written in the style that Gino Vannelli has recently re-imagined this 1970s pop hit. And this video also shows a fun Jackson-5 tune, "Never Can Say Goodbye."
Also on the program will be Urban Renewal's take on tunes by Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Anita Baker as well as a set of tunes to get you in the holiday spirit.
