Urban Mobility Futures with Professor Marco te Brömmelstroet
Bicycle Network welcomes internationally renowned urban mobility expert Professor Marco te Brömmelstroet to Melbourne for an inspiring discussion about creating healthier, safer and better-connected cities. One of the world’s leading thinkers on transport and urban mobility, Marco challenges conventional approaches to planning and encourages us to see streets not simply as places for moving vehicles, but as spaces that can improve health, strengthen communities and enhance everyday life. Marco will present his acclaimed keynote, The Hill of Hysteria, before joining active transport researcher Dr Elliot Fishman, Director, Institute for Sensible Transport, for a Q&A. Guests can then continue the conversation over drinks and light refreshments on Bicycle Network’s rooftop. The event is ideal for those working in government, transport, planning, engineering and public policy, as well as anyone passionate about creating more connected, healthy and liveable cities for everyone.
