Urban Forest Fest @ Outdoor Activity Center

Join us for Urban Forest Festival 2023 as we visit all three locations of the Atlanta’s Children’s Forest Network to activate the forests we love in urban spaces. Walk, skate, or bike over to Lionel Hampton Beech Nature Preserve (9a-11a), and spend the morning with us utilizing this lesser-known West Atlanta trail. Then head over to Cascade Springs Nature Preserve (11:30a-1:30p) to take a historical hike of the space and participate in citizen-led science efforts. Lastly, hang out with us at the Outdoor Activity Center (2p-4p) for a family-friendly hike and exploration of the forests.
