About this Event
In partnership with National Wildlife Federation's EarthTomorrow youth group, participate in a cleanup at Cascade Springs Nature preserve. There will also be an opportunity to complete a water quality monitoring test of Utoy Creek and learn about the condition of the watershed.
This event is a part of the 2024 Urban Forest Festival, activating all three parks in the Atlanta Children's Forest Network.
ABOUT THE URBAN FOREST FESTIVAL
Join us for Urban Forest Festival 2024 as we visit all three locations of the Atlanta’s Children’s Forest Network to celebrate the forests we love in urban spaces. Walk, skate, or bike over to Lionel Hampton Beech Nature Preserve and spend time with us utilizing this lesser-known West Atlanta trail. Then head over to Cascade Springs Nature Preserve to participate in citizen-led science efforts. Lastly, hang out with us at the Outdoor Activity Center for a family-friendly hike, garden workshop, and documentary screening.
