If you've been looking for love in all the wrong places, then we have the party that you are not gonna wanna miss..... On June 22nd, Docie's Dock is taking you back to the era of feather-band Stetsons, big belt buckles, and mechanical bulls. So dust off those cowboy boots and hats and two-step back to 1980 as we celebrate the classic John Travolta film, Urban Cowboy.
Saddle up for a night of live country music and dancing with the best Western band in the panhandle, The Victrolas, as they transport you back to the honky-tonk days of Gilley's with all of your favorite classic tunes. Now, as you may recall, a big part of Urban Cowboy was mechanical bull-riding and we really couldn't have a true Urban Cowboy without it.....
That's right, we are bringing in a mechanical bull for the night. So, if you think you've got what it takes to go 8 seconds on a bull then get there early to sign up for the Urban Cowboy Bull Riding Challenge. Rodeo Belt Buckles awarded to the top male and female riders.
