The Urban Chiefs are a Psyche–Blues–Stoner–Rock two-piece from Tamworth, NSW, who’ve been tearing up stages since 2009. Blake Saban (guitars & vox) runs an arsenal of custom guitars through multiple amps and a bass rig, building a sound so massive it shakes the floor. His gravel-soaked vocals cut through the chaos while Glendon Finlay’s tribal, hard-hitting drumcussion drives it all like a freight train.
Commanding audiences with soulful tones and an engrossing stage presence, Rolling Stone acclaimed artist and CMAA’s Young Achiever of the Year Piper Butcher will surely enchant you. With the modern soulful flair of Chris Stapleton, and timeless influence of Stevie Nicks, any performance of Piper's gives an insight into her unique sound and fresh style.
On his world tour of the East Coast, wandering minstrel Tim Woodz travels in his van, playing shows between Melbourne and Cooktown. He has supported Tex Perkins, Damian Cowell (TISM) and Jack Davies, performing songs about laundromats, possums, tall trees and backyard cricket in a storytelling style that captures nostalgia and off-beat humour. Becoming a regular favourite at a number of festivals, including Savannah in the Round and Tablelands folk festival, Tim has a humble showmanship that inspires the type of creativity and excitement that you can take home and heat up for later!
Pop Standen has been in the music business for 20 yrs.
He started at the young age of 50..
Since that time he has played his music in UK Indonesia Thailand New Zealand and just about every state in Australia.
