We invite you to explore some of Northeast Ohio’s most vibrant urban locations through the lens of the birds that call them home. Our Urban Bird Walk series takes place the fourth Saturday of each month, offering a relaxed, community‑focused outing where participants can discover surprising pockets of nature, learn identification tips, and enjoy the rhythms of city wildlife. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just curious about your feathered neighbors living alongside you, these walks offer a fresh way to connect with the urban landscape.
Late April brings a surge of migrant birds to Wendy Park, one of the Great Lakes region’s most celebrated urban stopover sites, where warblers, thrushes, vireos, and other travelers pause to refuel as the park’s woodlot, field, and shoreline come alive.
