Studio 54 invites you to throw caution to the wind and confetti in the air to celebrate the most dazzling night of the year.
For one unforgettable evening, step onto the dance floor and under the mirror balls as the University of Queensland Law Society transports you back in time to a shimmering dreamscape inspired by the reign of Manhattan’s iconic Studio 54: the era-defining discotheque that reshaped New York City’s cultural landscape – a place where disco, decadence, and glamour collided in an electrifying celebration of extravagant proportions.

🪩 Location: Cloudland, 641 Ann St, Fortitude Valley
🪩 Dress Code: Black Tie -- dressing to the theme is completely optional (sequins and shimmer encouraged).
While “A Night at Studio 54” promises to be a legendary affair, guests are asked to familiarise themselves with the following:

As usual, the venue reserves the right to refuse entry, or to remove patrons who are unduly intoxicated – take it easy prior to arriving.
Please note, this is a strictly 18+ event. The venue reserves their right to refuse entry to patrons who cannot present proof of identity at the door. Please bring official identification (i.e. a proof of age card, driver’s licence, or passport). No UQ student IDs or other unofficial forms of identification will be accepted, even if you have purchased a ticket.

The afterparty is included in ticket pricing. Afterparty details will be posted in the event Facebook page on the day of the event. Please keep your wristband on for access to the afterparty.

There will be three releases of tickets, with prices incrementally increasing with each round.
