UPWA presents Summer Showdown 2026/Where it all began

The one, the only, the BEST pro wrestling on the East Coast returns to Wilmington North Carolina on July 11th as UPWA presents Summer Showdown 2026/21st Anniversary Show.
In the Main Event, in a 30 Minute Iron Man Match, Champion Johnny Smooth defends against No. 1 contender and former champion Victor Andrews.
Smooth has been a dominant champion since winning the title at New Years Massacre 2025.
The only man who has been able to stand up to him? Andrews who returned as member of Team UPWA last year at Wargames. Andrews holds a count-out and disqualification victory but Smooth has kept the title each time to the frustration of Andrews and the fans.
As a result, UPWA has decided to have both men compete in an Iron Man Match and the 21st Anniversary Show. Two Men, 30 Minutes, whoever scores the most falls in that time frame will walk away Carolinas Champion.
Will Smooth prevail or Andrews once again become the Carolinas Champion?
Another championship match signed for the show will be for the Tag Team Championships as Silk City Kings will defend the titles in a Fatal Four-way against The Royal Wave, The Coastal Collective and a mystery team
UPWA Heavyweight Champion Sasha Jenkins will defend his title in an open challenge against ANY former UPWA champion.
UPWA owner Donald Brower will fight Jake Logan.
Also appearing: Lightweight Champion Joseph Everhart, Bobby Wohlfert, and the other superstars of the UPWA. Tickets are only $20 at the door and Children are $10. They are available at www.theupwa.com or at the door.
