About this course:

Cyber-attacks are a daily occurrence for every single business that has at least one computer connected to the internet. Most of them are random and they are stopped by countermeasures like firewalls.

Sometimes, however, these attacks are successful, and the results are often catastrophic. A data breach with sensitive information, a ransomware attack that ends with the victim paying the criminals or sometimes a simple Denial of Service attack that brings down a website and stops the business from offering their services and communicating with their clients.

This course will introduce you first to the different types of online threats. You will be exposed to a very wide spectrum of criminal activity and you will learn about how you can get prepared.

During the course, you will be introduced to the Incident Response Cycle, concepts like Cyber Risk, Threat Awareness and Playbooks.

This course will give you a taste of what it is like to prepare for not only one, but many different attack vectors.
