Step into The Woodshop’s darkest, danciest dimension this Valentine’s weekend for a two-night Stranger Things–themed celebration filled with bloody fun, Snowball ’84 prom vibes, and all the nostalgia-soaked weirdness you can handle. Expect specialty food menus, themed cocktails and a full takeover of the venue as we flip St. Elmo upside down.
Soundtracking the night is the mind-melting, synth-driven power trio Voyag3r (pronounced Voyager 3). Hailing from Detroit, Voyag3r features keyboardist Steve Greene, guitarist Aaron Greene, and drummer Greg Mastin—a force inspired by vintage horror, action, and sci-fi soundtracks. Their experimental rock pays homage to icons like John Carpenter while sharing DNA with Trans Am, Teeth of the Sea, and Zombi.
Since dropping their debut single “Victory in the Battle Chamber” in 2013, Voyag3r has carved out a cult legacy:
• Doom Fortress (2014), featuring tracks used in Portal to Hell! starring “Rowdy” Roddy Piper
• The frosty single “Secret of the Ice Mountain” (2014)
• Are You Synthetic? (2016), contributing to the documentary Rise of the Synths
• War Mask (2019), leaning into 70s rock grit and including their cover of King Crimson’s “Red”
The band has also scored the resurrected 1980s ninja film New York Ninja (2021), launched their own pop-culture podcast V3 Cast, and most recently composed the finale for the slasher film Movie Theater Massacre (2023) featuring their track “Slaughter into Space.”
Join us for two nights of supernatural swagger, synthwave power, and throwback prom energy as The Woodshop transforms into Hawkins’ most haunted Valentine.
