The UPMC Sunset Music Series returns to Beach 1, bringing six evenings of live music directly onto the sand at Presque Isle State Park.Presented by UPMC Health Plan and UPMC Hamot and hosted by the Presque Isle Partnership, the free weekly concert series takes place every Wednesday from June 17 through July 22 from 5:30 PM until sunset.
Each evening features:
- Free live performances
- Food trucks and refreshments
- Extended swimming hours
- Hoop playshops
- Weekly raffles benefiting Presque Isle
- ADA beach accessibility via mobility mats funded through public donations
To help improve access to Beach 1 during concert evenings, EMTA Route 33: Presque Isle Express will provide shuttle service from the Tom Ridge Environmental Center to Beach 1 every 20 minutes beginning at 3:30 PM. Route 33 operates Wednesdays and Saturdays from May 30 through August 19.
