UPLIFT - Sisterhood of Rope and Performance Art

Join us for the Sisterhood of Rope and Performance Arts' return of, Uplift, on Saturday, March 1st! Our show focuses on rope suspension and other forms of performance arts for an intimate live art experience. Our first Uplift was such a success and we are excited to bring it back in 2025 with even more to offer! Grab a beverage at the beginning of the show and join us in the land of Fire & Ice to be enthralled once again! 🥂

Agenda:

7pm - 8pm: Doors open at 7pm. During this time guests will be able to grab a drink or two and save a seat.

8pm -10:30pm: The show! There will also be an intermission during the show.

10:30pm - 11pm: Meet & Greet with the performers. Stop by to say hi, take photos (with consent), or stick around for another delicious cocktail from Lifted Spirits.

Optional Ticket Add-on - Immersive Rope Art Experience:

This hands-on introduction is designed to spark curiosity and creativity! As part of this experience you'll receive your very own piece of rope art to wear during the show, letting you carry a piece of the show home with you. This is perfect for those not yet familiar with the art of rope!

This experience will be available 7-7:50pm before the show, and during intermission. This will not be available after the show, so please come early for the experience!

Who are we?

Sisterhood of Artistic Rope, LLC (SOAR) was founded two years ago by Hops who has been in the Kansas City rope community for seven years and practicing self-suspension for over two years. Hops has been passionate about rope since the day that she discovered it and loves the education, art, play, and connective elements that rope has to offer.

SOAR was built around creating safe and education based rope events for those who are femme/them-identifying. Our goal has been to bring the community together to empower femme people within and outside of the rope community in KC, and to grow as people as well as rope artists.

Sara is a Relationship Coach serving folks in non-traditional relationships. She combines energetics, shadow work and real world relationship skills to guide people to create audacious, vibrant, secure relationships with Self, Source and others. Internationally renowned and motivationally captivating, Martika hails from Kansas City, MO. Martika is C.E.O of KC Entertainment Services LLC. She is a full-time circus and sideshow entertainer with fourteen years of traveling, performing, and producing shows under her belt. She has been seen on stages around the world from New Zealand to Canada. Featured on Canadian news outlets CBC radio, CTV, and USA outlets Fox 4 News, Lawrence Business Magazine, and more.

All while expanding her knowledge of performance art, she has been an avid kinkster for nine years. She is a self suspension rope artist of seven years using rope as movement meditation and movement therapy. Martika looks forward to creating a new chapter of immersive performance art experience through co-producing Uplift: Sisterhood of Rope and Performance Art.
