We are excited to offer our third annual UPLIFT 200hr Yoga & Mindfulness Teen Teacher Training. It is one of its kind, and here to create a transformative growth path for teens!

This training will enable UPLIFT to fulfill a larger mission of empowering teens to connect with their Inner BFF and OWN their well-being - mind, body, and spirit. In a time where teen mental health is at its lowest point in four decades, these tools are more crucial than ever. This training will equip teens with the skills to share UPLIFT tools with the world, while also nurturing their hearts, journeys, and mental well-being.

Our 200hr Teacher Training will be facilitated in three phases over six months.

WHEN

End of April through mid-November 2024

New and returning UPLIFT teens, ages 14+

LOCATION

Orange County Yoga Studio in Laguna Hills, CA

SCHEDULE

PHASE ONE begins on APRIL 26th, an in-person kick-off weekend, followed by five virtual sessions on Zoom.

PHASE TWO begins JUNE 5th; in-person summer time portion; Wednesday late afternoons and five long weekends (Friday-Sunday)

PHASE THREE begins SEPTEMBER 22nd; in-person or online 8 Week Fall Series; teen teachers will lead different segments while prioritizing being a student within our UPLIFT community.

Teach and Lead with UPLIFT:

• Set yourself up for the path to teach yoga and lead UPLIFT-like sessions within your greater community. Open yourself up to the possibility of becoming a UPLIFT Mentor upon high school graduation and completion of our Mentor Training. This is your gateway to personal growth and the opportunity to inspire others.

COST

Our goal is to make this training economically feasible for all teens. Most teacher training programs cost around $3,000. UPLIFT is not concerned with making a profit but instead seeks to cover costs for mentors, studio space, and supplies. We currently employ an honor system, and families pay what is appropriate. Note: Summer Retreat and Fall Series (Phase 3) are separate registrations from Teacher Training.

COST OPTIONS

OPTION 1 — Full Support + Donation: $1,700 (for families who can support the full cost of the training + a $200 donation to support another teen's journey!)

OPTION 2 — Full Support: $1,500 (for families who can support the full cost of the training)

OPTION 3 — Financial Assistance #1: $1,200 (for families who are somewhere in the middle, but the full cost is not accessible)

OPTION 4 — Financial Assistance #2 (for families who need full financial support; we will share our Financial Assistance Application with you to complete by April 20th)

Donations in any amount to support another teen in becoming certified are greatly appreciated.

Payment plans are available to make costs more accessible.

Note: As a non-profit, if enrollment for teacher training does not meet our minimum, cancellation is a possibility. Thank you for your understanding.

YOUR COMMITMENT & ATTENDANCE

This teacher training program exists to empower teens to embody all that UPLIFT stands for within themselves. We hold our Teen Teachers accountable to be the change we wish to see in the world - in their day-to-day lives; this includes their online presence, social circles, and beyond!

We ask that all who choose to commit ensure no more than four absences. All absences will be required to be made up to complete the certification. Any makeup that requires an in-person session with a mentor costs an additional $30 per hour. Please contact Ashley to discuss logistics and options if you foresee exceeding four absences.
