Vocalist Mel McCutcheon brings soulful energy and bluesy charm, inspired by legends like Nina Simone and Billie Holiday.
Bassist Brock Meades is an award winning jazz double bass player who is quickly becoming a first call musician in western Canada. Meades is classically trained with a masters degree in performance from the University of Victoria, and has consistently demonstrated his virtuosity across North America.
Guitarist Doug Anderson, influenced by Peter Bernstein, shapes each tune with melodic lines and harmonic flair.
The trio offers a relaxed, polished sound, reflecting a shared love of jazz.
