Bring in a few T-shirts (some with printed images or words) that you'd love to reinvent and we will learn cutting techniques and weaving techniques to revive those well-loved shirts. We received several donated T-shirts (some in plus sizes) that you can use also.
Instructor: Sylkia Webb/ Kristi O’Neal
Kristi is a professional artist with a degree and certification in art education from Georgia State University. She has taught many mediums at all age levels. She has also taught in a variety of venues, including public school systems, art centers, programs, and private lessons. Kristi is a member of the Heck.House board and acts as our Art Education Director.
What the Heck do you need to know:
*The class will take place outdoors under the pavilion.
*Limited to 10 spots. Signing up is required by clicking "Buy Ticket" or this direct link: https://www.heck.house/event-details/sylkia-webb-workshop-series-upcycling-t-shirts There is an option to pay in-person onsite.
*The fee is $25 per student. $20 goes to the art instructor, Sylkia, and $5 goes to Heck.house. Payment can be made online or in person. Online payment can be purchased via "Buy Tickets" or with Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, and Paypal here: www.heck.house/donate. Please make a note that it is for t-shirts.
*Parking is on one side of Milton Street, the cross street that the driveway is located on.

*For ages 12 and over. All genders are welcome.
