Upcycling Second-Hand Clothing with Ginger Magpie | Beyond The Rail
About this Event
Beyond The Rail is a three-day immersive fashion and creative experience by All Over The Shop, taking place at Liverpool Metquarter from 18–20 September 2026 as part of Fashion Britain and London Fashion Week, in collaboration with the British Fashion Council.
Bringing together Liverpool's independent designers, makers and creative community, the weekend will feature hands-on workshops, live making, styling, personalisation, interactive experiences and creative installations throughout the space.
Reworking & Upcycling Second-Hand Clothing
Join Ginger Magpie for a hands-on reworking workshop exploring how second-hand clothing can be transformed into something completely new.
Choose from a selection of second-hand pieces including men's blazers, shirts and denim, then get creative with a table full of trimmings, prints, beading, feathers and other embellishments.
You'll work on giving a pre-loved item a new life and creating a bespoke, unique piece of fashion that reflects your own style.
Whether you're drawn to bold embellishment, playful details or completely changing the look of a garment, this workshop is all about experimenting, reworking and seeing the potential in what already exists.
The workshop takes place in The Workshop at Beyond The Rail, alongside a full weekend programme celebrating Liverpool's independent fashion and creative community.
