Upcycled Pop Tab Jewelry Workshop

Learn to weave your own jewelry using upcycled poptabs. In this workshop you'll learn to weave two styles of pop-tab jewelry: the poptab chain, and a flat tab bracelet. The weaves you'll learn in this workshop will allow your to make jewellery and ever garments like bags, purses, shirts, and dresses if you want.

Add some DIY flare to your every day look and join us in some upcycling.

WORKSHOP INFO:

Min Age12+

Level: All skill levels welcome - no previous experience necessary

Tools and Materials Provided:

• Aluminum tabs
• O-Rings
• Bracelet cordage
• Clasps, earring hooks, and fasteners
• Wire Cutters
• Needlenose Pliers
• Small files

This workshops materials are included for you to use and take with you when you're finished to continue your mending journey.

All our workshops include free coffee and tea. Borrow one of our mugs, or bring your favourite reusable containers

Info: You'll learn how to identify and clean pop-tabs and how they can be used best. Then you'll learn how to use them to make a chain.

Info: In the second part of our workshop we'll show you how to weave pop-tabs. This technique is the most versatile and can be used to make various accessories like bracelets, hip-chains, side bags, totes, and even garments.

Info: During this time you'll have the opportunity to make to your hearts content. We'll expand the materials available to you, field any questions you have, and help you out how we can. We will also have other materials available if you want to experiment and try other crafts.
