Upcycled Jewelry Bar- Create Your Own Necklace

Join us for a fun, hands-on event where you can get creative and design your very own upcycled necklace! Browse a collection of unique beads and materials and craft a one-of-a-kind piece to take home. Whether you're an experienced jewelry maker or simply looking to try something new, this relaxed workshop is the perfect opportunity to create, experiment, and connect with fellow makers.

This event was inspired by a recent treasure hunt at the bins, where I rescued a collection of beautiful beads and necklace cords that were destined for the landfill. Instead of letting them go to waste, I wanted to give them a second life through creativity and community.

50% of ticket sales will benefit Laredo Thrift and Center for Creative Reuse, whose mission is to help divert textile and material waste from the landfill in Laredo while encouraging people to rethink what we throw away and discover the creative potential in rescued materials.
