Upcycle With Us x The Lab E20

An opportunity to see how 6 amazing London based brands reuse secondhand materials to create the most beautiful products. There will be live upcycles as well as workshops for everyone to get involved in. Either get a ticket for general entry or one for a specific workshop listed below so we have an idea of numbers.

Workshops

Sat 22nd at 1pm: Lydia Bolton will be showing you how to make and embroider little flowers from fabric scraps and then stitch on to your shoes, a stain on a top, a tired tote bag or anything you wanted to add a little something to ! Check out Lydias Website and Instagram for inspiration:

Sun 23rd at 11am: The B Happy Studio will show you how to bring new life to an old piece of jewellery. Perhaps you’ve got an heirloom you don’t wear as it’s too old fashioned or a piece of jewellery that needs rethreading or needs a new clasp, The B Happy Studio will help you rework your piece into something beautiful you can wear and keep forever. Sun 23rd at 2pm: Harlie Briggs Art will share her painting secrets and show you how to paint onto a ceramic or lampshade you may have at home to make it your new favourite piece of homeware. Check out Harlie's website and instagram for inspiration:

Live Upcycles over the weekend

Freya Simonne will be reworking a dressing gown into a jacket and skirt set over the weekend for people to watch and ask any questions. Check out Freya's website and instagram for inspiration:

Ecru Collection will be displaying the latest additions to their ‘lost and found’ collection and demonstrating how unloved, iconic ceramic tiles that are destined for the skip can be repurposed into beautiful, timeless classic pieces of furniture.
