About this Event
The School of Computer Science would like to invite you to the Belgrave Rooms (https://www.belgraverooms.co.uk/) for an informal reception and welcome to the School. The International PGT & PGR students Welcome Reception will take place on Friday, 27th September 2024, at 4-6pm.
The event is designed for international and UK Postgraduate Taught (PGT) and Postgraduate Research (PGR) students new to Nottingham and the university. The event will comprise a short formal part on the life at Nottingham and UoN, followed by an opportunity to meet and engage with fellow students and staff over some drinks and light food.
The event is a great opportunity to hear from previous MSc and current PhD students, mingle and chat with current students and staff, and get to know both your School and the city of Nottingham.
Drinks and nibbles will be provided and attendance is free to Computer Science PGT and PGR students, subject to registering.

Please note:
- The event is open to 2024 starters for PGT and PGR degrees at the School of Computer Science, University of Nottingham.
- The event starts at 4pm sharp. Please make sure to arrive 10-15 minutes earlier to allow for registration on arrival.
- Remember that you must show your email confirming event registration.
- Registration is mandatory and students who are not registered, will NOT be admitted.
- We only accept ONE ticket per registration.
