Come join us at the Dominican retreat centre for a day filled with peace and reflection. This event is all about taking a step back from the busyness of life and focusing on the gift of presence - to the moment, to ourselves, to each other and to God, who first gives Himself wholly to us.

A Glimpse of our Day Together

10am Arrival, tea & coffee

10.30am Opening session - welcome and settling in practices

11am Contemplative Advent Storytelling - opening to the gift of wonder

11.30am Meditation on Scripture - deepening into the gift of new life

12.00 Time to respond to whatever is arising (quiet time at prayer stations, art stations, in the chapel, etc

12.30 Unwrapping the Gift - a reflection

1.00 A hot lunch

2.00 - The group will split between a mindful wander in the woodland with Lydia and contemplative prayer and poetry with Catherine in the conference room.

3.00 The Gift of the Unexpected - a closing ceremony

Through prayer, meditation, and quiet contemplation, we will unwrap the gift of being fully present in the moment. Let's come together to nurture our souls and deepen our connection with ourselves and with the Divine.
