This August, Her Majesty’s Theatre Ballarat will host UNWOMAN (the protest) a live artwork built from real Ballarat locals sharing real stories.
This project explores the many experiences around fertility, infertility, pregnancy, and the choice to have (or not have) children, stories that are incredibly common, but rarely spoken about.
We’re inviting members of the community to get involved. No performance experience needed — just curiosity.
This performance is about connection, honesty, and breaking down stigma through shared experience.
This event is completely FREE, but you will still need to book your seat to reserve it.
START WITH A RELAXED INFO SESSION
Join us on 24 June to learn more in a casual, no-pressure environment. You’ll hear about the project, how it works, and what taking part could look like.
From there, anyone interested can take part in workshops to shape their own personal story, which may become part of the live performance on stage at Her Maj in August, and contribute to a growing artwork installation.
