This special addition to our Knoxville Movement Collective dance calendar celebrates the truth within us. The evening will begin with a special tea and meditation facilitated by AH. The mix, Unveiling the Heart of Your Truth, is also an offering made by our collective member AH. Prior to closing circle for this dance she will also offer some Reiki and sound healing for those open to receiving. Doors Open: 7 pm
Opening Circle: 7:30 pm
Doors Lock: 7:50 pm
Ecstatic Dance is a movement practice, and while held in community it is also simultaneously your own personal journey with the music as a support and guide.
No "dance" experience is necessary. This is a free-form, somatic, meditative practice where every breath is movement.
The dances are drug-free, alcohol-free, smoke-free and conversation-free. And we ask that you arrive substance-free.
The music follows a journey with a calm/flow beginning, into a more vigorous and intense middle, entering into a more still and silent end.
The dance is open to everyone! Family friendly. No partner or dancing ability required - only breath and soul.
Please dress comfortably and bring some water to stay hydrated.
Event cost: $10-$20 sliding scale
