Location:

Edinburgh Palette, St Margaret's House, 151 London Road, Edinburgh, EH7 6AE.

Please press the buzzer for entrance and head to The Workshop Space on the third floor, just off the main gallery.

What to expect:

There will be a variety of models over the course of the sessions with a mixture of short and long poses. The sessions are untutored but if you have any questions I'm happy to give a few pointers!

Materials:

There are easels provided and small and large boards that can accommodate up to A1 paper. Please bring your own drawing materials and paper or sketchbook. If you're working with loose paper please bring tape or bulldog clips to affix to the board.

Covid-19:

Following changes made by the Scottish Government from 18th April 2022, the requirements that were in law have been removed and it is no longer mandatory to wear a face covering in Scotland. However, Covid-19 still remains a concern and the Scottish Government and health experts are strongly advising people to continue to wear face coverings in indoor places and on public transport.

We also recommend continuing to wear face coverings whilst moving through the building and room, though they may be taken off whilst stationed at your easel. Easels are spaced with social distancing in place, the room is well ventilated and there is sanitiser on site. Touch points will continue to be sanitised, please don't arrive more than 10-15 minutes early to allow time for cleaning to take place.

As Covid symptoms can also appear like other seasonal colds, if you feel at all unwell or are awaiting the result of a test please do not attend!

Break:

We'll have a short break in the middle so feel free to bring a thermos flask with your favourite tea / coffee in.
