𝐏𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. Legendární newyorské power trio Unsane od samotného vzniku na přelomu devadesátek definuje abrazivní, dravý zvuk mísící elementy punku, heavy metalu a industrialu, díky kterému si vydobyli status kultovní hardcoreové kapely.Unsane se zrodili z manhattanské DIY scény okolo vyhlášeného undergroundového klubu CBGB, kde se na stagi potkávali s kapelami jako Helmet, Cop Shoot Cop, Surgery nebo Quicksand. Svou debutovou eponymní desku vydali u Matadoru a v polovině devadesátek už nezastavitelně koncertovali nejen po Americe, ale taky v Evropě, například během zásadního co-headline turné s Neurosis v roce 1996. Kapela si v následující dekádě prošla turbulentním vývojem, několika obměnami v sestavě a řadou zářných úspěchů i osobních tragédií.
Zásadní návrat přišel s rokem 2021, kdy se v Unsane k původnímu kytaristovi Chrisi Spencerovi přidala nová rytmická složka: basák Eric Cooper (Made Out of Babies) a bubeník Jon Syverson (Daughters). Reissue debutu oslavili velkým turné a příští rok vyráží na další, v rámci nějž se po koncertu na Roadburn Festivalu zastaví taky v pražské MeetFactory.

Večer zahájí pražská noise-rocková parta Děti deště, která je od roku 2007 součástí labelu Silver Rocket. „Hrajeme slovanské noise, punk s prvky hluku s občasnými výlety do heavy. Máme rádi Swans, Ministry, Sonic Youth, Einsturzenede Neubauten, Melvins, Mudhoney, Beatles, Unsane, Michaels Uncle, Gnu, Lvmen, Lyssu, Squall, OTK, Ninnu Simonne, Hanu Hegerovou, Pavla Bobka, Suchý-Šlitr, Part Chimp, Beastie Boys, Švehlík... atd. Hrajeme, už léta, hrajeme pro zábavu a občas po koncertě musí někteří z nás do práce na směnu.“

Since their formation at the turn of the 90s, the legendary NYC power trio Unsane has been renowned for their raw abrasive sound, blending elements of punk, heavy metal, and industrial into a trailblazing sonic signature that has earned them the status of a cult hardcore band.
Unsane emerged from the Manhattan DIY scene centered around the iconic underground venue CBGB, where they shared the stage with groups such as Helmet, Cop Shoot Cop, Surgery, and Quicksand in the early years. Unsane released their self-titled debut album via Matador, and by the mid-1990s they were touring relentlessly not only across the U.S. but also in Europe – including a key co-headlining tour with Neurosis in 1996. Over the years, the band had gone through a turbulent evolution, multiple lineup changes, and both major success and personal tragedies.
Unsane reformed in 2021, when the group's original guitarist Chris Spencer was joined by a new rhythm section: bassist Eric Cooper (Made Out of Babies) and drummer Jon Syverson (Daughters). The band celebrated the reissue of their 1991 debut with a major tour, and next year they are heading out again – this time also stopping at Prague’s MeetFactory in April after a show at Roadburn Festival.

Music and noise since 2000. Underground mayhem. The evening will open with Prague noise-rock band Děti deště, which has been part of the Silver Rocket label since 2007. “We play Slavic noise, punk with elements of noise and occasional excursions into heavy genres. We like Swans, Ministry, Sonic Youth, Einstürzende Neubauten, Melvins, Mudhoney, The Beatles, Unsane, Michael’s Uncle, Gnu, Lvmen, Lyssa, Squall, OTK, Ninna Simone, Hana Hegerová, Pavel Bobek, Suchý–Šlitr, Part Chimp, Beastie Boys, Švehlík… etc. We’ve been playing for years, we play for fun, and sometimes after a concert some of us have to go straight to work.”
