Science is often associated with the idea that we don't need God to explain the world. Excellence in mainstream science is not widely seen as compatible with faith in Jesus as creator of everything. However, unpacking what science is, and its underlying assumptions, reveals more harmony with a Christian worldview than we might expect. In this talk, Dr. Zachary Ardern will explore why science and atheism, though superficially connected, are in deep tension with each other. Bring your questions, and bring a friend!

Dr. Zachary Ardern is a researcher in microbial genomics at a research institute in Cambridge, UK, a Fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion, and an Associate of the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion.
