Calling all musicians and poets! Open your heart and throat chakra with this Unplugged Open Mic & Poetry Slam NightCALLING ALL ECLECTIC ARTISTS, POETS & MUSICIANS!
Because we love the therapeutic effects of music, sound and creating community so much, we are announcing a new kind of open mic night. We want to offer a unique space for all those eclectic artists and poets out there. Therefore…
This is no ordinary open mic. This is an unplugged, acoustic open mic … with no amp or actual microphone. We have a a keyboard, a guitar, and some other sound healing instruments... but that's it. We are leaving the amp at home. You are welcome to just stick to your own raw voice also. We love you and just your voice as you are. Our space is small so you don’t really need the mic anyway.
Come speak or sing your truth, open your throat chakra (and maybe a little heart chakra too!), while we make new friends, slam some poetry, experience some new singers and songwriters, sip some kava or cbd tea, witness cathartic expression, or hear an instrument we’ve never heard before.
If you play an instrument that wouldn’t normally fly at your standard dive bar open mic night, or if you have some poetry you’d like to test out, then this event is for you! But the average acoustic joe is welcome too! Inclusion is our #1 jam.

Event is free but please RSVP so we can accommodate accordingly. Our space is small**
* in order for this event to be FREE: You MUST be a performing participant. For observers we ask for $3, includes tea.
**Donations ( for tea and other resources) are appreciated but not required. We have officially started fundraising for 501c so anything you have to offer is graciously accepted with sincere gratitude.
