Heidi and David have been musicians most of their lives. Heidi has two vocal music education degrees from University of Illinois and met Dave in Springfield, IL where he was playing guitar and singing an original composition at an ice cream social for Our Savior's Lutheran Church. They've been making music together ever since (Married for 34 years!) Heidi was an elementary school music teacher for 9 years for the Decatur School District and the Director of Worship and Music at St. Paul's Lutheran Church for 30 years. She has sung with the Illinois Symphony Chorus, soloist with the Decatur Municipal Band and has sung with OPUS 24 for the past 10 years. Heidi and David are members of two bands where they write and record all original music; Riverflow - jazz, blues and acoustic folk music and Seventh Trumpet - symphonic progressive rock. Over the last two years they have created a following on the Seventh Trumpet YouTube page where they record and post their versions of popular 60's, 70's and 80's songs, which they will be sharing with you.
Joining Heidi and David for this performance are their daughter, Bethany Force on Clarinet and background vocals (Bethany is the Children's Director at D1Naz in Decatur, IL. She lives in Forsyth with her husband, Rick, and their three children.) Marshall Sperry on Acoustic Bass (I have been playing bass for 56 years and almost know what I'm doing. The best part of a small group, I moved from the garage/basement to the living room for rehearsals!), and Max Burgstahler on Drums (I've been playing drums in basements, bars, and churches for 50 years. Thanks Mom and Dad for mostly somewhat tolerating all the racket.)
