Unpacking the Credits: West London schools & colleges training event

West London Careers Hub is hosting a free teacher training event, funded by the Greater London Authority, to increase awareness of the new ‘Unpacking the Credits’ resources and creative sector careers for young people and schools.

Delivered by Education and Employers charity, the charity behind Inspiring the Future, on Tuesday 14th May from 9:30 -12:30, we will be hosting a free teacher training event at the Lyric Hammersmith which will include

· An introduction to the Unpacking the Credits resources and how they can be used in your school

· A speed-networking event with employers from the creative sector, providing teachers and careers leaders with the opportunity to meet face-to-face with a range of employers and volunteers talking about their organisation, the creative jobs they undertake and opportunities they offer to schools and colleges.

· Action planning to support the usage of the Unpacking the Credits films within your school and training on how to access West London based creative employers to support activities in your school.

This will enable you to:

· Gain an understanding of the new Unpacking the Credits resources and how they can be used in your school

· Develop links with a range of local creative sector employers who can offer opportunities to your school

· Network with other careers leaders

Refreshments will be provided and all attendees will receive a free resource pack to take back to their schools.
