How the Champion is Decided

Players compete across multiple rounds, with each game earning points based on finishing position:

- 1st Place – 5 Points

- 2nd Place – 4 Points

- 3rd Place – 2 Points

- 4th Place – 1 Point

Top scorers advance from each round, moving closer to the Grand Final. The player with the highest total points after the final round is crowned the UNO Champion.

Rules & Regulations:

General Rules:

- Official UNO rules will be followed throughout the tournament.

- The organizer's decision is final and binding.

- Players must report at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts.

- Players arriving more than 10 minutes late may be disqualified.

Gameplay Rules:

- No stacking of +2 or +4 cards.

- Jump-In rule is not allowed.

- Seven-Zero rule is not used.

- Players must say "UNO" when they have one card remaining; failure to do so before being caught results in a 2-card penalty.

- Wild Draw Four challenges follow official UNO rules.

Time Limit

- Each game has a maximum time limit of 15 minutes.

- If time expires, the player with the fewest cards remaining ranks higher; if tied, the player with the lowest total card value ranks higher.

Conduct

- No cheating, abusive language, or unsportsmanlike behaviour.

- No outside coaching during games.

Terms & Conditions:

- Entry is confirmed only upon successful payment/booking.

- Entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

- Management reserves the right to modify the schedule, format, or rules if required.

- Prizes are non-exchangeable for cash and will be awarded only to the Top 3 performers.

- Management is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings during the event.

- By participating, players agree to being photographed/filmed for promotional use by The House of Makeba and Tribe of Makeba.

- Entry may be denied without prior notice in case of misconduct or violation of venue policies.
