Unmask the Author: An Author Engagement Month Experience
About this Event
Behind every book is a story. Behind every story is an author.
Coffee with the Characters LIVE invites you to UNMASK THE AUTHOR—an interactive Author Engagement Month experience created for authors, aspiring authors, literary creatives and the professionals who support them.
This is not an event where you sit quietly all evening. Come prepared to meet people, participate, discover valuable literary resources and make genuine connections within the indie-book community.
WHAT TO EXPECT
🎭 UNMASK THE AUTHOR GAME
Use clues, genres and conversation prompts to identify the mystery author on your card. When you believe you have found the right person, ask the all-important question:
“May I unmask you?”
The goal is not simply to solve the mystery—it is to start a conversation and make a connection.
☕ AUTHOR CONNECTIONS
Meet published and aspiring authors, introduce yourself, discuss your work and connect with people who understand the creative journey.
💼 LITERARY SERVICE PROVIDER SPOTLIGHT
Hear directly from professionals and organizations that serve authors. Discover resources, services and opportunities that can support your work behind the book.
