Unmapped — Tara Harris | Solo Exhibition Opening

You’re warmly invited to the opening of Unmapped, my 2026 solo exhibition at Birmingham Midland Institute.
I’ll be bringing together a collection of my contemporary, otherworldly oil paintings — imagined landscapes that exist somewhere between recognition and imagination.
My paintings explore memory, place, emotion and transformation, creating landscapes that are discovered through the act of painting rather than mapped out in advance.
It would be wonderful to see friends, fellow artists, collectors and anyone who enjoys contemporary painting. Come along, meet new people, catch up with old friends and make a day of it in Birmingham.
Everyone is welcome — I’d love to see you there.
