Special Education Consults and Conference Organizers (SECCO) and Autism Society of Alabama are, once again, joining forces to bring a special needs conference to the Birmingham/North Alabama area!!
We plan to have at least 11 speakers presenting on a variety of topics including:
- Alabama's special education overview update
- Behavior concerns in the classroom and other environments
- Living on the Autism spectrum
- Classroom strategies for more effective learning/teaching
- Special education law and current issues
- Special needs adults 'social opportunities
The topics will bring much needed information to parents, general and special educators, college students, service providers and anyone who wishes to learn more on special education topics!!
