Join NEWESD 101, Washington Branch International Dyslexia Association, and the INW Dyslexia Alliance on Tuesday, August 11 in Spokane for a powerful learning day focused on dyslexia, structured literacy, and the language systems that support reading and writing.
Facilitated by Dr. Alicia Roberts Frank, President of WABIDA, and Michelle Norwood, Regional Literacy Coordinator at NEWESD 101, this training will explore:
• Dyslexia awareness, including an interactive dyslexia simulation
• Structured Literacy and the Science of Reading
• Phonology, orthography, and morphology to strengthen reading, spelling, vocabulary, and writing instruction
Designed for educators, specialists, administrators, and families committed to strengthening literacy outcomes through evidence-based practices.
