Unlocking Opportunities with Slovenia
About this Event
The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, in partnership The British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and SPIRIT Slovenia and the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport of Slovenia, is bringing a delegation of export-ready Slovenian companies to Manchester on the 20th of October 2026.
UK businesses are invited to join a dedicated business engagement day at Old Trafford Stadium, where they can meet Slovenian companies looking to establish new commercial partnerships, distribution channels and customers in the UK.
The programme includes presentations on doing business with Slovenia, networking opportunities, and pre-arranged one-to-one B2B meetings with members of the delegation.

Pre-arranged meetings between Slovenian delegates and UK businesses. Each meeting will last approximately 20 minutes, with 5-minute transition intervals. Individual meeting schedules will be provided in advance.

Buffet lunch offering delegates and UK participants the opportunity to continue conversations and develop new business relationships.

Please note this event is exclusive for companies seeking to purchase products and/or services from the delegation. If you are a service provider (e.g. translation company, logistics provider or other), whilst you can express interest, priority will be given to buyers.
How does it work?

- Make sure to choose the suppliers you wish to meet with and select times. When selecting times, make sure to not double book yourself. You can have up to 2 members of staff register and if you wish to make as many appointments, make sure to register separately
- A member of our team will review your registrations and if approved, we will be in touch to confirm your place at the event and meetings
- At least 1-2 days before the event, you will receive a draft of your B2B meetings. Please note B2B meetings will take place face to face and will last 20 min each between 10:45 am and 12:00 p.m. UK Time.
Can’t Attend in Person?
Register your interest and select suppliers you want to connect with—our team will arrange virtual introductions after the event.

This event is FREE of charge for UK and European businesses. Registration is mandatory.
