In this one day workshop , led and coached by Iris Klein (coach for actors on Severance, Blue Bloods, The Cleaning Lady, etc), you will learn the necessary acting techniques of how to listen and be present, and how to work directly in specific relationships, objectives, and circumstances. You will be able to pick up a script or a play, read and understand it, break it down into moments and beats and actions.YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO BE TRUTHFUL IN EACH MOMENT IN WORD, ACTION AND BEHAVIOR We work with a fusion of contemporary acting techniques, including Meisner, Laban, and Narrative, advancing the actor's knowledge and skill set to draw on in their work. It’s designed to build upon the actor’s prior experience and ability, it also gives those with no experience a solid foundation from which to work.
