Come join us for a mystical gathering celebrating the powerful energy of the dark feminine during the sacred time of Samhain. This in-person *WOMEN ONLY* (LGBT FRIENDLY 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️) event will be held at 1756 Lincoln Rd, where we will explore ancient rituals, and honor the cycle of death and rebirth within ourselves.
SAMHAIN- A Gaelic festival marking the beginning of winter that has been around since the 9th century. To thank the pagan gods for a bountiful year and to ask for protection into the dark months people would make sacrifices, dress in costumes resembling the gods, practice divination, rituals and so much more. It is a very powerful potent time of year still to this day! This is the time of year where the veil is thinest between worlds, and all manner of darkness tries to overcome us.
This retreat will allow us to come face to face with our own darkness, embrace it as equally as our light and move forward into a new chapter of our lives! So what can you expect from this retreat? This is not your classic halloween party, however we do want you to dress up! I want to see you all show up as your inner dark feminine goddess/witch/sorceress! Get creative! There will be a prize for the best dressed!
Itinerary: To start our night off we will have a classic tea and dinner party! Think Bridgerton but dark! Our onsite photographer will be capturing our event so bring your enthusiasm! After dinner we will gather around a fire for a ceremony filled with Samhain rituals, rage rituals, breath work, mediation, sound bath, & reiki. This will be deeply transformative as we come face to face with all we want to release, embrace. In the end our goal is to help you realize that to love ourselves for who we are we must embrace the dark and the light.
We will finish off the evening with a pizza party, dancing, singing around the fire and just letting our fullest expressions come to the surface! As this is a retreat we welcome all of you to stay the night with us. There will be some space available inside, and for the rest we will have tents set up outside/you may bring your own. You are not obligated to stay the night or partake in the events of day two, however we want this to be an immersive experience and a chance to make new bonds of friendship, so if you can stay the night/attend day two we would love to host you.
Day two- We will be startting the day with some yoga, followed by a light breakfast. To close out the retreat Mel will guide you through a final ceremony to integrate all you have learned, and moved through during the last two days. After this you will be free to head back home.
