Unleash Your Joy Workshop with She Summits

Join She Summits for an afternoon of genuine connection and learning how to use joy as an antidote to stress. Leave feeling refreshed, energized, and clear on how to easily unlock more joy in your work and life!

The workshop is by suggested $10 donation with proceeds going to support the work of Girl in the Wild, free confidence-building camps in wild spaces for teenagers who identify as girls or non-binary.

Advance registration is required. All levels and genders welcome!

About This Event

Join She Summits Co-Founders and Certified Coaches Danielle Leroux and Laura van der Veer for Unleash Your Joy: a 50 minutes interaction workshop on using joy as an antidote to stress and a building block of wellbeing.

Joy is one of our most powerful emotions. It can lower anxiety, decrease stress, promote heart health, lessen pain, and increase productivity.

Joy is also contagious and that’s why it can be so powerful in community - it’s a force multiplier that creates positive ripple effects to the people around you.

One of the top amplifiers of burnout is feeling a lack of control. Creating joy is within your control and we’re going to show you how.

You will walk away from this workshop with:

• Understanding of the proven physical and mental health benefits of joy
• Tools to remove what blocks you from experiencing joy and prioritizing self-care
• Ability to tap into what uniquely brings you joy so you can reap the health benefits
• A joy toolbox and an action plan to realistically implement small and big moments of joy into daily life

After the workshop, you’ll also receive a free drink ticket (non-alcoholic options available) to be used at the beer garden at the VIMFF Summer Fest. This is a free, family-friendly outdoor film event hosted on June 22 from 1:00 pm-8:30 pm at the Shipyards.
