(Parents & Guests welcome to join!)
1:15pm Change into costumes
1:30pm Stretch & Warm Up at The Blocks at CPA
1:45pm March to Stadium from CPA
1:55pm Lot 10 Tailgate Performances & Group Picture
2:45pm Pregame
3:00pm Kickoff!
Twirlers will be dismissed after halftime. A parent/guardian must come get them.
Additional details…
WHAT TO WEAR & BRING WITH YOU
* You’re encouraged to wear school costumes for the halftime performance, but ANY costume is welcome.
* School/Team/Athletic Warm ups & practice clothes are encouraged for the Clinic.
* Arriving to the clinic with makeup & hair already done is suggested.
* There will be some walking throughout campus and you will need to keep everything with you for the whole day if your parents are NOT joining you for the tailgate. Bring a back pack or bags you can easily carry for everything you need to have with you. This includes the costume you need to change in to. Again, arriving to the clinic with hair and makeup already done is a strong suggestion!!
PERFORMANCE
* The routine choreography will be posted in the Facebook event (https://www.facebook.com/share/1Dcvs8EZWN/?mibextid=wwXIfr) & will be sent to the email addresses used when registering.
* Each twirler will get a solo opportunity & multiple baton twirling is welcome.
* Participants will perform in the endzone in front of the student section & everyone is very excited to see our show!! Guests can watch their twirler from the top of that section.
GUESTS & THE TWIRLER TAILGATE
* After dropping off your twirler, Parents can park in Lot 12, check out campus, and prepare for the Tailgate/Potluck (Lot 12). Look for the white tent near the trees. (Set up won’t start until 11:30am)
* Bringing something to share in the potluck is encouraged!
* BYOB & Chairs
* The Twirler Day Participants & our Feature Twirlers will join you around 12:15pm. Their lunch will be delivered to the tailgate, in addition to the potluck.
* Guests are encouraged to watch the band at the Blocks behind the CPA and then follow your Twirler Day Participant as they lead the band to the Glass Bowl!
