Come and join University Choir and Orchestra for their sparkling end of term concert.
About this Event

Performances include Sibelius's grand hymn 'Finlandia', Berlioz's fizzing Roman Carnival Overture and 'Autumn' from Glazunov's ballet for The Seasons. We'll also explore the quirky story of Lieutenant Kijé (the soldier that bureaucrats had to invent to satisfy the Tzar's curiosity) through Prokofiev's sparkling music. Together with some magical pieces for chorus, including the ever-popular 'Shepherd's Pipe Carol', we hope this will be a winning evening for all tastes. How could you stay away?
