It is an action-packed, fun-filled single day of supplemental training where you choose the classes you wish to take. Classes are led by experienced volunteers and professionals who will help you enhance your ability to deliver a fun and exciting program to the Scouts.
The Latin phrase “ESTOTE PARATI” found on our shield means “Be Prepared.” University of Scouting is designed to help you Be Prepared, further your knowledge, enhance your skills, and grow your network so you can better deliver the Promise of Scouting.
It is time to gather, network, hone your skills, and recharge for another great year of Scouting. To all of those who attended prior year’s University of Scouting, we say “Welcome Back.” To those who are attending for the first time, we welcome you and hope you find your time well spent. We know your time is valuable; we appreciate your willingness to spend it here. We have a dedicated staff that is ready to share experience, knowledge, and ideas to help you deliver a fun and exciting program.
