University of Greenwich Roof Garden & Living Walls - Guided Tour
About this Event
Since the Landscape department moved to central Greenwich in 2013, the staff have been developing the roof gardens as a teaching and research resource under the umbrella of the Green Roofs and Living Walls Centre, see https://www.gre.ac.uk/people/rep/las/dr-benz-kotzen The tour will last two hours when we will view the university’s living walls and roof gardens. There will be discussion of the related habitats and urban ecology, urban agriculture, aquaponics and other aspects of the research underway and also an opportunity to view the landscape architecture students’ work at the Greenwich summer exhibition
Meet: 2.30 pm entrance reception area to 10 Stockwell Street, Greenwich, London, SE10 9BD
