University of Essex - Harwich and North Essex Constituency Hustings

Join us on the University of Essex's Colchester Campus to hear from the local candidates in the upcoming general election. Professor Paul Whiteley, from the Department of Government, will host a panel featuring candidates for the Harwich and North Essex constituency. This event provides a fantastic opportunity to hear the candidates' views on important issues and ask them any pressing questions you have.

Questions from the audience should be submitted in advance via the booking form.

How to get to our Colchester Campus

There is ample parking at the University of Essex and parking on campus is free after 4.30pm. For further information on travel to our Colchester Campus, please visit: https://www.essex.ac.uk/life/colchester-campus/how-to-get-here

We recommend parking on the Wivenhoe side of campus and using the car parks on this side of campus. The Ivor Crewe Lecture Hall is a very short walk from the car parks. There are plenty of disabled parking spaces and if you have any access needs, please let us know.

Please note that all bags, rucksacks, packages, and other personal items brought to the building will be inspected by our security staff before entering the auditorium.

Food and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium.
