University Crossing Grove Tree Planting

FREE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENT!

Come join us for a fun day of planting trees and celebrating the greening of our city at the University Crossing Grove Planting!

• Location: 4310 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75206. All registrants will receive an email prior to the event with additional parking information and a site map, so you know exactly where to go.
• No experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to get your hands dirty!
• Tree and event volunteers arrive at 7:00 a.m. to get the day started bright and early! Don't worry, coffee will be provided.
• Join us for the celebration! Public event begins at 9:00 a.m. (event ends at 1:00 p.m. and a full schedule is included below).

The University Crossing Grove Tree Planting is a joint effort between the University Crossing Public Improvement District (UCPID), Dallas Water Utilities, and the City of Dallas to restore two vacant lots along Matilda Bridge, just east of Greenville Avenue, into a tree grove and Blackland Prairie no-mow area. The hope is to continue collaborating with the city to increase our tree canopy!
