Greetings one and all. We're very pleased to announce Unity Through Dub #3 at Nanny's, on Saturday November the 9th.
This time joining us in selection will be Chief Remedy Sound Systems selector and operator Fat Controller, live and direct for his first session in Tāmaki Makaurau.
Fat Controller hand built the mighty Chief Remedy sound system, as a way to bring roots and culture to a post-quake Christchurch. Many will know Christchurch has a well established sound system culture, with a unique sound and vibe, and we're very honoured to have one of it's key proponents join us in session. Expect a selection on the edge of reggae music, and a deadly selection of his finest, dance-verified tunes.
As usual, for UTD the full Fish & Bread sound will be in commission, and there are no set times, just back to back vibes from 9pm through to 1pm.
Unity through Dub is a donation / koha event, intended to bring unity to the community, for all crew and family. We want to spread this music and its message far and wide, so bring your friends and show them the deeper side of roots and dub music.
