Unity in Diversity: AAPI Multicultural Festival

Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Silicon Valley, Asian American Parents Association (AAPA), Cupertino Library Foundation, and Cupertino City Council welcome the public to our third annual AAPI Multicultural Festival, “Unity in Diversity.” The event will take place at the Cupertino Library Square on Saturday, May 11th from 2PM to 5PM.

The vibrant AAPI Multicultural Festival will feature local community organizations to showcase and represent their cultural identity, vendors to sell cultural wares, and dynamic performing arts groups to display a unique and creative spectacle! We hope to highlight the mosaic of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures in Silicon Valley and inspire people to take the first step in improving their communities.

Our previous festivals had 10 booths, more than 13 performing groups and speakers, and around 500 attendees! This year, we are aiming for even greater heights, and we invite you to join us for an afternoon of laughter and festivities!

The goal of the event is to unify the voices of the AAPI community and its allies, combating injustice, and creating a more accepting and inclusive County for all.

We will focus on inspiring the event participants to embrace diversity, intersectionality, and intergenerational unity while covering topics such as AAPI history in America to educate the public on the beauty of each culture and foster solidarity and cultural learning.
